WORLDWIDE – The tech-house heater drops ahead of the producer’s forthcoming EDC Las Vegas debut this May.
“Excited to finally get “Un Beso” out following a year of playing it in my sets. It was one of my favorite tracks to play all last summer throughout Europe and Ibiza. It’s definitely a fan favorite amongst the girls - the reactions have always been so positive. So many different people all over the world have been requesting this one for quite some time, so I’m really happy to finally put it out right before Miami Music Week.” - Malóne
Cuban-born, Miami-bred tech-house maestro Malóne has kicked off 2024 in grand fashion. Last month, the buzzing selector successfully launched his new label and event series, WHYNOTUS, alongside the release of his single “444” – a propulsive, Afro-infused tech-house heater. He was also just announced on the lineup for EDC Las Vegas 2024, his debut performance at the legendary festival.
This recent success follows years of Malóne navigating the Miami dance scene as a DJ and producer, where he’s refined a sound of percussive-driven, Afro & Latin-infused tech-house grooves – ultimately making a name for himself in one of the world’s most highly competitive, bustling music communities.
This experience has culminated in an official residency at Miami’s iconic Club Space; sets at Hi Ibiza alongside his idols The Martinez Brothers; #1 worldwide spots on Beatport’s AfroHouse chart; collaborations with legends such as BLOND:ISH; releases on labels such as Saved, Insomniac, Abracadabra, and Watergate; over 1,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify; and, of course, the launch of his new imprint.
Designed to be a home for his own releases as well as those from both heavy-weight talents and rising stars, WHYNOTUS will seek to sign and curate artists that represent his cultural heritage: as a Latin American, as a Miami-resident, and as someone who believes in the true power of dance music.
As a result, WHYNOTUS plans to create a global community of performers and listeners alike, encouraging people to believe in themselves through the infectious grooves of the classic Miami sound.
Today, Malóne unveils “Un Beso,” an infectious tech-house banger that acutely reflects the sonic and cultural ethos of WHYNOTUS. Infusing its sizzling drum programming with sultry Latin vocals and infectious basslines, “Un Beso” was crafted for a peak nightclub experience.

“Un Beso” is a track purely dedicated to pulsating dance music catharsis – a cacophony of elements that acts as a mission statement for the producer’s emerging status as tastemaker and global representative of Miami electronic music.
