ZEDS DEAD ANNOUNCES “FIRST CONTACT, THE DUO’S FIRST-EVER TAKEOVER AT HAMPTON COLISEUM ON APRIL 12TH & 13TH, SET TO BE THE LARGEST EAST COAST DEADBEATS EVENT

(TORONTO, CANADA)— Electronic music powerhouse Zeds Dead is set to take over the legendary Hampton Coliseum in Virginia on April 12th and 13th, 2024. This marks the duo’s first-ever performance at the venue, promising to be the largest Deadbeats event on the East Coast.

The Hampton Coliseum, a historic arena since 1962, is revered for hosting a variety of iconic events, including major electronic music festivals and concerts by world-renowned artists like The Grateful Dead, Phish, GRiZ, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, and Beyoncé. With a capacity of over 11,000, it stands as a cultural landmark in the music world.

This monumental event at the Hampton Coliseum is a distinct and standalone experience, set apart from Zeds Dead’s recently announced ‘Two Night Stand’ 2024 Tour. Tailored specifically for this iconic venue, the event will feature unique production, intricately designed to complement the space. Attendees can expect two nights of specifically curated lineups, and uniquely different Zeds Dead sets each evening, ensuring a one-of-a-kind experience that goes beyond the regular tour format.

Zeds Dead, Dylan Mamid (DC) and Zachary Rapp-Rovan (Hooks), have been at the vanguard of the dubstep genre since 2009. Their Deadbeats imprint, a hub for North American bass music, reflects their commitment to exploring a vast range of sonic expressions and nurturing emerging talents.

In 2023, Zeds Dead elevated their presence with headline performances at renowned festivals like Bonnaroo and Electric Forest, as well as their nationwide Deadbeats tour. The duo’s dynamic influence was showcased in events such as their sold-out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, vibrant performances and curated lineups at venues like The Brooklyn Mirage and Charlotte’s Black Box.
