NEW YORK FASHION WEEK – Yesterday New York City’s leading underground event collective Teksupport announced their New York Fashion Week programming, highlighting some of the world’s most noteworthy cultural tastemakers, including icons Peggy Gou and Skepta.
Where: The Glasshouse in Manhattan
Teksupport will host two nights of world-class sonic curation against the backdrop of glass floor-to-ceiling windows providing unobstructed 360 views of the Manhattan skyline.
Opening the NYFW programming on Wednesday, September 6th, the first Glasshouse show will see performances from legendary grime pioneer, rapper, and fashion designer Skepta, fellow grime veteran Jammer, who recently co-founded house label Más Tiempo alongside Skepta, and club culture icon Peggy Gou. The Glasshouse show follows Peggy Gou’s 10,000 person show sellout with Teksupport back in March.
Teksupport will return to The Glasshouse on Thursday, September 7th to host Brazilian viral star Mochakk, Parisian DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Chloé Caillet, and UK mainstay Ben Sterling for a night full of eclectic and energetic sets.
Rounding out Teksupport’s NYFW programming on Friday, September 8th is Senza Fine Vol IV, the multisensory party concept founded by Turkish-Italian DJ and multi-instrumentalist Carlita. Joining Carlita on the decks includes world renowned creative director, designer, and DJ Heron Preston, amapiano icon Desiree, British singer-songwriter and producer SG Lewis, Israeli rising star Mita Gami, and Ahmed Spins.
